On Saturday night, actress Michelle Yeoh attended the closing ceremony of the 2011 Doha Tribeca Film Festival….
Michelle wore a sparkling olive-green strapless gown from the Elie Saab Spring 2011 Collection and paired it with a black Roger Vivier clutch. This is such a beautiful gown, seriously gorgeous. I simply do not understand why she carried a black clutch?! It is not a good color contrast-the black just clashes with the olive-green color of her gown, IMO. And I don’t like her oversize watch and silver jewelry, either. Her hair and makeup look really lovely, though.
Overall, I think Michelle looks really nice….as I said, this is an absolutely stunning gown….it would be hard to not look good wearing it. She just accessorized poorly. Good dress, bad watch and bad clutch!
How do you feel about this olive-green gown on Michelle? Love it? Loathe it?

Happy Halloween!!! 😉
Last night ‘Holly’s World’ star Holly Madison hosted the 3rd Annual ‘Hollyween Party’ at Studio 54 nightclub in Las Vegas dressed as Rapunzel!
Because ‘Tangled’ is one of my MOST FAVORITE movies, I love this Rapunzel costume! I think Holly looks super cute! I especially like this costume because it is short and flirty and fun, but not over-the-top risqué!
What do you think about Holly’s Rapunzel costume? Love it? Hate it?
Actress Nikki Reed was in Madrid earlier this week for the ‘Breaking Dawn-Part 1’ premiere:
Yay or nay? I can’t decide….
The Twilight actress chose a cotton and chiffon polka dot dress by Topshop and paired it with black strappy sandals. Polka dots are very popular on the red carpet this season….but I simply cannot decide how I feel about this dress on Nikki. I feel like it looks a little too small for her….it looks like it is pulling a bit through her middle. Other than that….I think I like it! I mean, it isn’t the greatest dress in the world, but it is cute. She looks cute. And I really like her hair, makeup and shoes.
One more thing…..she needs to polish her nails! And toenails! Sheesh…..
What do you think? Do you like this dotty Topshop dress on Nikki?
Actress Leelee Sobieski attended Fashion Group International’s 28th Annual ‘Night of the Stars’ which was held in New York City at Cipriani Wall Street….
Leelee chose a blue cotton blouse and long chocolate-brown skirt from the Jil Sander Fall 2011 Collection. And I must say, I like it! This is not a look that could be pulled off by most, but I think Leelee really looks confident and is totally working it! The blue color of her blouse looks amazing with her blue eyes, it really makes ’em stand out! Overall this is just a very different look for a red carpet event, but that is one of the reasons why I like it! Now, if only Leelee would smile……

Resident Evil babe Milla Jovovich was in Milan a few days ago at the launch party for the 2012 Campari Calendar:
Milla chose a red chiffon polka dot printed blouse and a navy blue polka dot printed skirt. She paired with it a Prada ‘Visone’ crocodile bag, a Jacob & Co. watch and black satin slingback pumps. I love everything about this look! I love the blouse and skirt and the cool retro vibe she is giving off-I love the unexpected mix of crocodile print and I even love her red lips! She looks great!
Later in the evening Milla changed into a red Prada gown for the after-party…..
But it is her polka dot Prada ensemble that really stands out in my mind! I love it! What do you think? Which look do you prefer?

Happy Saturday! 🙂
Uh oh. Me no likey…..at all…..
Solange Knowles was one of the many celebs in attendance at the launch party for Burberry Body which was held at the Beverly Hills Burberry store. Beyonce’s baby sis chose a high-waisted teal skirt, a print blouse and tribal heels-all Burberry Prorsum Resort 2012. I will start by saying this-I love the heels. (Leighton Meester wore them earlier this year at a launch event for HTC). But that is all I love. The skirt and blouse look bad together. Period. This outfit gives me the impression that Solange is trying too hard. She is trying to be high-fashion (I give her credit for that!) but it just isn’t working here. The skirt might be okay with a different top…and the same goes for her mustard color blouse. It might be okay paired with something else…..but this blouse and skirt together just don’t work. And quite honestly, I am not really liking her hair or her coral colored lipstick. Not liking ’em at all!
The verdict is this: Fantastic shoes. And that is all.
What do you think? Love it? Hate it?
Lauren Conrad was at The London Hotel in West Hollywood recently for the 2nd Annual Autumn Party….
Lauren chose a lemon-hued paillette dress by BCBG Max Azria and accessorized with nude peep-toe Aldo pumps, a very glamorous retro style hairdo, bright pink lips and a gigantic envelope clutch. I love, love, love the dress, hair and lipstick!! I am just so-so about the shoes (everyone is wearing nude pumps on the red carpet lately!)….and I don’t like the clutch. It is waaaaay too big!
Lauren is seriously cute. And she always looks good. Once in a while, though, I would like to see her be a little less cutesy and a little more sexy! Know what I mean?
What do you think? Do you like Lauren in this BCBG Max Azria dress?
Happy Friday!! 🙂
